Summary

Description

Combat with the mimic as shown in the ADRIFT conversion of The Beginners Cave.

To your great shock there are doors to the east and west. The hall goes north from here and a broken tunnel goes south.

>east
You move east.

You are in an east cell. (W)
You are in a small stark cell with a door on the west side.

There is a large chest in the center of the room.

>open chest
As you approach the chest, it suddenly comes alive and two tentacles come out of the sides, holding you fast. Another tentacle rises from the top and attempts to hurt you.

Mimic attacks Birgitte.
A hit!
Birgitte is hurting.

>attack mimic
Birgitte attacks Mimic.
A hit!
Mimic is in good shape.

Mimic attacks Birgitte.
