Merfolk, also known as mermaids and mermen, are intelligent water-dwelling beings who inhabit the world of Eamon and feature in the mythology of Earth. Merfolk are generally humanoid but have a long, fish-like tail instead of legs and may be partially covered in scales.
Tritons are a similar but distinct water-dwelling race.
