Template:W/doc

The w template is used to help create links to Wikipedia, without displaying the prefix and without the need for repetition if the link text is the same as target page name.

Usage

• {{w|Dungeons & Dragons}} → Dungeons & Dragons
• {{w|Dungeons & Dragons|a fun game}} → a fun game

Without using this template, an editor would need the following syntax to produce a link to a Wikipedia article:
[[w:Dungeons & Dragons|Dungeons & Dragons]]
